Influenced by artist Ian Davenport and the current Covid-19 situation. These digital art works allowed me to experiment with what paintings I could create next. In addition, they gave me the opportunity to create a digital paint pour when space to create and supplies were limited. When researching Davenport, I learnt that Davenport photoshops different sections together from many pieces of previous work. This then creates a new image with a potential painting he could create. I started to do this myself and it became a form of experimentation into understanding what paintings I could produce next.
